Obey - Savage Posse Gang Jacket

Cool jacket that's on sale at Metropark. I really like the attached hoodie and the color of the jacket. As I mentioned before, jackets are really important during this season and you can't go wrong with this one.

Adidas - Originals ZX Racer

Sometimes you have to ditch the Black loafers or the boring white sneakers and add some flash to your outfit. I never much believed in outlandish sneakers, but these really caught my eye. They remind me of something a DJ would wear. I think they're cool as hell. So what if they are yellow? Time to stand out a little.

Canterbury of New Zealand - Millfield Blazer

A good blazer is not that hard to find, but a GREAT blazer is really hard to find. Wearing a blazer automatically classes up an outfit, but that's not always enough. What I've been looking for in a blazer is something that classes up an outfit AND stands out in some way. That truly is hard to find, but this blazer has it in my opinion. The crest is a nice little addition and the blazer has a military feel without overdoing it. Definitely a good addition to a nighttime arsenal.

A.P.C. - The New Standard

Jeans. Nothing is more complicated these days than buying a "cool" pair of jeans. Bootcut or straight leg? Raw denim or distressed? And just how detailed should the stitching on those back pockets be.

Frankly, I think reasonably fashionable people can differ about this kind of stuff. I personally do NOT wear bootcut jeans anymore because whenever I don't wear boots (which is 99% of the time) they look like bell bottoms. So I'm a straight leg kind of guy. I also like my jeans more on the tight side as opposed to the loose side, but not skin tight spandex style. I leave that to the tall hipsters in Williamsburg.

As far as details go, I have a couple of pairs of jeans for different occassions. If I'm trying to look more "classy", I wear a pair of dark jeans that are not distressed in any way. If I'm going for a more urban look, I love a few holes and some paint on there. It depends on the situation.

The above pair of jeans look like they'd go great with the "classy" look. Slim-fitting and pretty dark with no distress marks. I don't know if they'd necessarily stand out, but they would sure as hell compliment an outfit.

The Spike-Hawk

OK, so I made up the name for this style myself. And this guy's hair isn't really in a mohawk at all. But you get the gist. In the realm of fashion, hair is king. Every girl knows this, but I think too many dudes forget it. They get a crew cut and think good enough. Not good enough. You only live once, so get a little wild.

Although I don't really dress punk rock, I love all punk rock hairstyles. I especially like when the look is crazy but has some semblance of order underneath it all. I believe I called it "ordered chaos" the other night. This guy has ordered chaos down to an art. Spikes everywhere, hair covering his face, the inability to walk into places with low ceilings without fudging up the do. Yet there is something poetic about it all. I'd rock this hairstyle in a second (and usually do, in a less drastic, more mohawk-ey way), and maybe you should too.
